Privacy Policy

1. Controller

Pairmo Labs SRL (Romania) is the data controller for personal data processed through Pairmo. Contact: contact@pairmo.app.

2. What we collect

Account data — name, username, email, phone, date of birth, gender, country, city, profile photo. Card & profile content — what you choose to publish: photos, bio, interests, the details of your cards. Location — used to show you nearby matches; a custom search location if you set one. Usage data — device information, interactions with the app, diagnostics. Payments — handled by payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.

3. What we use it for

Operating the matching service (showing your cards to compatible searches and vice versa) · account management and safety (verification, moderation, blocking) · paid features and billing · service communications · improving the product through aggregated analytics · legal obligations.

4. What other users see

Your published cards are visible to users whose search matches them. You control, field by field, which About-You details appear on cards and in which domains. Visibility settings, private profile and block lists are respected across the platform.

5. Partners

When your results run out and partner platforms are queried, only your search parameters (domain, category, approximate city) are shared — never your name, account or precise location. You become identifiable to a partner only if you choose to open their link.

6. Legal bases

Performance of contract (providing the service you signed up for) · consent (e.g. optional visibility, marketing, cookies) · legitimate interest (safety, fraud prevention, product improvement) · legal obligation. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

7. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, personal data is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (e.g. billing records).

8. Your rights (GDPR)

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection — exercisable from the app or by writing to contact@pairmo.app. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Romania: ANSPDCP).

9. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk — encryption in transit, access controls, and safety-oriented product design (e.g. Safe-Meeting details stored privately).

10. Children

Pairmo is not directed at persons under 18, and we do not knowingly process their data.

11. Changes

We will announce material changes to this policy in the app before they take effect.
